Adding a Klaviyo API key

Connect a brand to Klaviyo so MX can pull campaign and flow performance into the Klaviyo dashboard.

Go to klaviyo.com/create-private-api-key.

Name the key something your team will recognize, like “MX analytics”.

Choose Read-Only Key and copy the key. It starts with pk_.

Make sure the right brand is in scope. Open the brand switcher at the bottom of the sidebar if you need to switch brands.

Open the brand profile and go to the Integrations tab. Under Klaviyo, paste the key into Private API Key, click Test key, then Connect Klaviyo when the test passes.

Open Klaviyo from the sidebar and click Refresh data. Campaigns and flows appear after the snapshot loads.

On the brand’s Integrations tab, click Disconnect under Klaviyo, then add the new key as above.

“We couldn’t verify this API key” - Copy the full key again. It should start with pk_.

“You need access to this brand” - Ask the brand owner for Admin or Editor access.
