Adding a Klaviyo API key
Connect a brand to Klaviyo so MX can pull campaign and flow performance into the Klaviyo dashboard.
Create a Klaviyo API key
Section titled “Create a Klaviyo API key”Go to klaviyo.com/create-private-api-key.
Name the key something your team will recognize, like “MX analytics”.
Choose Read-Only Key and copy the key. It starts with pk_.
Add the key in MX
Section titled “Add the key in MX”Make sure the right brand is in scope. Open the brand switcher at the bottom of the sidebar if you need to switch brands.
Open the brand profile and go to the Integrations tab. Under Klaviyo, paste the key into Private API Key, click Test key, then Connect Klaviyo when the test passes.
Pull your data
Section titled “Pull your data”Open Klaviyo from the sidebar and click Refresh data. Campaigns and flows appear after the snapshot loads.
Replace a key
Section titled “Replace a key”On the brand’s Integrations tab, click Disconnect under Klaviyo, then add the new key as above.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”“We couldn’t verify this API key” - Copy the full key again. It should start with pk_.
“You need access to this brand” - Ask the brand owner for Admin or Editor access.
