Prompts and commands

Prompts are reusable instructions you drop into chat with a slash command. Save the ones you use often, share the best with your team, and pull them into any chat in two keystrokes.

In the message box, type / to open your prompt menu. Keep typing to search by name. Use the arrow keys to move through the list and Enter to insert the highlighted prompt, or click one. Each row has a View link that opens a preview so you can read the full prompt before you use it.

Open Prompts from the expanded sidebar to manage everything in one place. There are two tabs:

  • My Prompts - prompts you created. Use the Show filter to switch between Active (all), Shared with org, Private, and Archived.
  • Discover - prompts your teammates have shared with the org. Filter by Scope (Personal or Brand) to narrow the list.

Search boxes on both tabs match on name.

Click New Prompt on the Prompts page to open the builder. Give it a Name, an optional Description, and write the instructions in the content editor. You can scope a prompt to Personal or to a specific Brand. Turn on the share toggle to make it available to your whole org, or leave it private to yourself. Prompts save as you type.

There are two ways to run a prompt:

  • From the slash menu or a preview, insert it straight into the message box, then edit and send.
  • From the library or a preview, choose Use in Chat to drop the prompt into a new chat.

Found a good one in Discover that someone else owns? Choose Add to My Prompts to fork it into your own library, then edit and reuse it. A prompt tied to a brand can only be used when that brand is active - switch brands if you are prompted to.
