Getting Started
MX is where your team turns brand knowledge into on-brand email copy. Sign in at app.mxbrandcopy.com, then follow this page to get oriented and produce your first draft.
What is MX
Section titled “What is MX”MX is an AI brand-copy platform for marketers and agencies. You teach it about a brand, then it helps you write campaigns and flows in that brand’s voice. The main pieces are:
- Chat - talk to the AI about a brand, ask for copy, refine ideas, and generate drafts.
- Campaigns - build one-off email campaigns with an editor built for copy.
- Flows - map multi-email automations on a visual canvas.
- Brand knowledge - the profile, files, and rules that keep every draft on-brand.
Everything is organized around a brand. Pick which brand you are working on, and the rest of the app follows that choice.
The sidebar
Section titled “The sidebar”The sidebar on the left is how you move around MX.
The Platform section has your everyday destinations:
- Home - your dashboard and starting point.
- Chat - the AI assistant for the current brand.
- Flows - automated email sequences on a canvas.
- Campaigns - one-off email campaigns.
- Documents - your saved copy documents.
- Klaviyo - campaign and flow performance once Klaviyo is connected.
Expand the sidebar to also see Prompts (saved prompts and slash commands), Agents, and Trash for recently deleted items.
At the bottom is the brand switcher. It shows the brand you are working on now and lets you jump to pinned brands, open View all brands, or start New brand. Org admins also see an Org Admin section here.
Pick or create a brand
Section titled “Pick or create a brand”MX needs a brand in scope before it can write anything on-brand. Open the brand switcher at the bottom of the sidebar, choose View all brands, and pick one. If the brand does not exist yet, click New brand. See Create a brand for the full walkthrough.
Brand scope
Section titled “Brand scope”Most of MX works against the brand you have in scope. The brand switcher sets that scope, and pages like Campaigns, Flows, and Klaviyo follow it.
Scope also changes what Chat can do. With a brand selected, the assistant can reach that brand’s knowledge, profile, documents, campaigns, flows, and Klaviyo data. Select a brand before starting a chat.
If you open a brand-scoped page without a brand selected, MX sends you to the brands dashboard with a prompt to Select a brand to continue.
Your first piece of copy
Section titled “Your first piece of copy”There are two doors to your first draft.
- Ask in Chat. With a brand in scope, open Chat and describe what you want - for example, a welcome email or a product launch subject line. The AI drafts it in the brand’s voice, and you refine from there.
- Start a campaign. Go to Campaigns and click New Campaign to set up a campaign and generate copy in the editor. See Create a campaign.
Either way, you can save the result as a document and keep editing it later.
Where to go next
Section titled “Where to go next”- Finding your way around - Home, notifications, and keyboard shortcuts.

- Create a campaign - build a one-off email.
- Create a flow - map a multi-email automation.
- The brand profile - what MX knows about your brand and how to shape it.
