Campaign editor

Write and refine a campaign, format selected copy, adjust sender details, add tables, links, and images, and leave comments. Everything you type saves on its own.

The header shows the title, the brand and style selectors, a save status readout, and the share control. Select copy to open its formatting toolbar beside the selection.

The selection toolbar covers headings, bold, italic, lists, links, and tables. Type / at the start of a block for insertion commands such as images, dividers, and a quick 3x3 table.

You can ask MX to revise the copy and review every change before it lands. Describe the change you want, and MX comes back with suggestion cards - one per change, each showing exactly what moves (word-level marks), the original text a click away, and a one-line note on why MX made that call.

Work the cards however suits you: click Accept or Skip on each, or keep your hands on the keyboard - j/k to move between changes, Enter to keep, d to skip. The progress rail shows where you are. Switch between Changes, After, and Before views any time to read the copy the way your customer will.

Not ready to decide? Press Esc to park the review - nothing is accepted or rejected, and your decisions so far are waiting when you come back, even after editing elsewhere. Dismissing every change takes a deliberate two-step confirm, so a stray click can never throw away a revision.

The toolbar’s MX review button launches a full review agent on your copy: MX reads the draft against your brand profile, brand rules, and brand knowledge, checks it against your organization’s standards, verifies claims and links on the web when they matter, and leaves anchored comment threads - suggestions you can Apply in one click, or discuss like any other comment. It runs in the background with a subtle shimmer while it works, and says so when clean copy has nothing to flag. It works on every campaign type and on flow emails. See Comments for the full walkthrough.

Designed and Text-Based campaigns include email metadata above the content: a subject line and preview text. Text-Based campaigns also show a sender name field. Pick a sender from the brand’s configured list, or add a new one from the same picker. To manage the list ahead of time, add senders under the brand’s Basic settings, in the People section’s Email Senders field.

Build richer layouts with the toolbar:

  • Tables - select copy, choose Insert table, and highlight the number of columns and rows you want. Turn on Header row when needed. The table is inserted after the selected copy. For a quick 3x3 table at the cursor, type /table. Right-click a cell to add or remove rows and columns, merge or split cells, toggle the header, or delete the table.
  • Links - select text and add a link. Click an existing link to edit or remove it from the popover.
  • Images - type / at the start of a block and choose Image, or paste one straight into the copy.

Select text and use the comment button (Add comment (select text first)) to start a thread in the margin. Reply, resolve, and @mention teammates the same way as in documents. See Comments for the full walkthrough.

You do not need a save button. The editor saves as you type and shows the current state in the header: “Saving…” while a change is in flight, and “Saved” once it lands. If a save fails, the readout says so and offers a Retry.

The readout only appears once there is something to report, so a campaign you have opened but not touched does not claim to have saved anything.
