Documents
Documents are free-form writing spaces backed by your brand. Use them for anything that is not a campaign or a flow, and edit them with the same editor.
What documents are for
Section titled “What documents are for”A document is a general writing surface. Reach for one when you want to draft, take notes, or collaborate on copy that does not fit a campaign or a flow. Each document can be tied to a brand so MX has the right context when you ask it to help.
Create a document
Section titled “Create a document”On the Documents page, click New Document in the top right. MX creates a document titled “Untitled Document” and opens it in the editor. Rename it by editing the title in the editor header.
Organize and find
Section titled “Organize and find”The Documents page lists everything you have. To narrow it down:
- Search by name in the search box.
- Type filter to show a single document kind.
- Sort by Updated, Created, or title (A-Z, Z-A).
The list shows each document’s name, brand, who created it, type, and when it was last updated. When you search, results are ordered by relevance.
The editor
Section titled “The editor”Documents open in the same editor as campaigns, with the same toolbar, autosave, sharing, comments, and History. See the campaign editor page for how the toolbar, AI rewrite, tables, links, images, and saving work, and History for saved versions and restore.
Delete and restore
Section titled “Delete and restore”Deleting a document moves it to the trash rather than removing it outright, so you can bring it back. See Trash for how to restore or permanently remove items.
