Brands

A brand in MX is the profile the AI uses to write like you. It holds your brand’s basics, research, curated facts, standing rules, and reference files, and everything the assistant produces draws on it.

Each brand is a profile MX builds and keeps up to date. When you chat, plan a campaign, or lay out a flow, MX pulls that brand’s context so the copy sounds right without you re-explaining who you are every time.

A brand collects:

  • Basics: name, website, store URL, primary market, and the people behind the brand.
  • Research: a report and section summaries MX generates about the brand.
  • Facts: individual, sourced claims you can accept, edit, or reject.
  • Brand Rules: standing do’s and don’ts included in every AI request.
  • Files: documents and images you upload for extra context.

Open the brand switcher at the bottom of the sidebar and choose View all brands to see every brand you can work with. Click New brand to start one, use the search box to find a brand by name, and click a finished brand to switch to it and open Chat with that brand loaded.

The dashboard groups brands into three sections:

  • Pinned - brands you have pinned to the top.
  • All Brands - every other finished brand.
  • Finish Onboarding - draft brands you started but have not completed. Click one to pick up where you left off.

A draft brand is one that has not finished onboarding yet. Drafts show Continue setup and live in Finish Onboarding. Anyone can delete a draft to start over.

If you work in the same few brands every day, pin them so you are not scrolling the full list to switch. Pinning does not change what a brand does - it is just ordering and quick access.

To pin a brand, hover its card on the Brands dashboard and click the pin control (Pin brand / Unpin brand). Only finished brands can be pinned; draft brands cannot.

Once a brand is pinned, it surfaces in three places for faster switching:

  • The brand switcher lists your pinned brands, so you can jump between them from anywhere in MX without opening the dashboard.
  • Home can scope drafts through the Choose brand chip in the hero composer.
  • The Brands dashboard keeps pinned brands together in the Pinned section at the top.

Once a brand is set up, its context flows into the places you create content:

  • Chat - the assistant answers and writes using the brand’s profile, facts, and rules.
  • Campaigns - campaign copy is generated against the selected brand.
  • Flows - flow briefs and steps draw on the same brand context.
