Organization knowledge

Organization knowledge is a library of how-we-work files that MX reads in every chat across your whole organization. Only organization admins can manage it.

What org knowledge is

These are org-wide files that inform every brand’s work: processes, playbooks, standards, and other “how we do things here” documents. Unlike brand knowledge, which is tied to a single brand, organization knowledge applies everywhere. MX searches these files in every chat across your organization, so guidance you upload once shows up no matter which brand a teammate is working in.

Upload and manage files

Open Org Admin in the sidebar, then Knowledge. Drag files into the upload area or click to choose them. Each file is processed and then indexed so MX can search it. The page shows how many documents are indexed.

If a file fails to process, you can retry it. To remove a file, delete it - deleting is permanent, so you will be asked to confirm. You can also click a file to preview it.

How it shows up in chat

Once a file is indexed, MX can pull from it automatically. When you are working in chat, MX searches your organization knowledge alongside the brand’s own knowledge and uses what is relevant to answer. You do not have to attach these files yourself - they are always available across the organization.
